Present Facilities

The present building has a total area of 9000 sq. feet (total land = 15,000 sq. feet) and consist of:

• A prayer hall of about 4000 sq feet for men
• A prayer area for ladies
• The small offices
• Library / Conference room
• Bookstore
• Furenal room
• Toilet and wudu facilities

Plans for Expansion

In order to provide more adequate physical facilities, both vertical and horizontal expansions are planned. In the immediate future, a second and third floor would be added over the existing building, thereby providing a total floor area of 23,630 sq. feet.

On a longer term basis, we intend to acquire the adjacent building and land of about 80,000 sq. feet and renovating it. Once the expansion project is completed, we will have enoough space for the following:

• A school
• A Centre of Da'wah and for promotion of Islamic Studies
• Sizable Islamic library
• A Madressa for teaching of Qur'an, Sunnah and Fiqh
• A gymnasium for Muslim youth
• More offices
• A mini market
• Additional parking space

Funds Required

The total estimated cost of the immediate expansion is 6.6 million dollars. The project is planned for construction in two phases with each phase costing as shown below. The amount available to start the work on the project, raised locally through donations, is $150,000. A fund rasing drive is planned to collect more funds in the coming months.
